Time and time again abortion clinics tell women as well as young teenage girls that it is just lifeless tissue that they are carrying, then after they perform the abortion the women or the teen girl realizes that it wasn't just lifeless tissue it was a human life. Then the guilt and hurt creeps in and they may fall into a deep depression then the clinic says "It will take time it will go away" Studies has shown that this is a lie, it never goes away without help.

Now you may be feeling Even if God does forgive me, how will I ever forgive myself? You may try to bury the pain in some way such as drugs alcohol or even sexual pursuits. These may work for a short time but it won't be long that you will dive right back into the pain. Jesus said "Come unto me all that are bourdon and with heavy labor and I will give you rest". This can be dealt with and you can forgive yourself, there are steps to get there.

1. Get out of denial. (Thinking that you can do this on your own).

2. Be honest and acknowledged that it is painful.

3. Bring it to the surface so that you can deal with it.

4. Then bring it to the Lord in prayer so He will give you the comfort you need.

The above steps may take you a while, even through Jesus has forgiven you; you must keep bringing it to Him until you have peace in your heat that you have forgiven yourself. Sometimes that is not so easy, but it can be accomplished through prayer.

Remember God knew from the beginning of time that there would be abortions in the world. He even knew who was going to have one, so He in His magnificent grace made a provision for it through His Son Jesus Christ so that you and many others don't have to feel the shame and guilt. Jesus makes it where you and countless others can rise from the pits of these feelings and fall to there knees and say I made a mistake and I seek you and all you forgiveness. I urge you to call on Him and know that He is near to you in this time of great need.
