Sheffield's truck stop was known in the early 80's as a place to always provide good food and friendly atmosphere.
This facility down through the years has been used of God to touch many lives.
There has always been a peaceful presence that is recognizable as soon as one enters the premises.
The owner Ray Sheffield attributes this peace to his daily walk with the Lord.
Ray is not affiliated with or a member of any church or organization but he is a powerful man of God and has always referred to the lord as his daddy.
Ray keeps a low profile as he studies the different classes of people and life styles that come in to his place of business and has always been able to sense when a soul is in trouble or sad about something.
More than once he has come to my table and invited me to join him as he would have someone in the next room near the chapel that was in need of special prayer.
He has ministered to all walks of life and has many testimonies how the Lord moved in their situation and met their need.
Ray invites all to stop at this place of business and enjoy a meal that is sure to fill ones appetite and who knows, you might just be invited to visit the chapel in a nearby room.
